Instead, We Adapt

Apr 3, 2020 11:31:46 AM / by Guest Author

We all know that this fast-spreading virus has captured our planet, forced us to #StayHome and put on hold all of our daily activities. From classes, to work as well as outdoor and social events. Yet, given our patented tenacious #studentpro spirit, we will not let little things like campus closures and the complete disruption of our daily lives spoil all of our activities. Instead, we adapt.

Students and administrators nationwide are looking for activities that can be run virtually. Although our students cannot physically enter a set campus space together, we want them to log on, plug in, and engage with one another remotely.

So, to get you started, our Student Government Association members put our brains together and came up with these suggestions of activities and challenges that can be run and enjoyed through the magic of technology. We have put them all on a portal which we update daily Enjoy!

The portal contains:

  • Daily challenges for students to complete
  • Athletics
  • Virtual Volunteering Opportunities
  • Healthy Food Recipes
  • Reading Time Videos
  • Blackboard Help Videos

and much more... You can access the portal from The Q under Student Links. Click here and scroll to the bottom to SGA Engagement.

Stay tuned and check our Student-Community Engagement Portal frequently, since information is updated daily!
