Nick Murray is stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina where he is a Logistics Officer and Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, US Army. He serves his country as a Platoon Leader and Maintenance Control Officer... and it all started at QCC. When he first came here, he was looking to build his GPA as well as his confidence. Coming in as a first-time college student after taking a few years off can feel intimidating, but taking that first step is really the hardest part.

Ever since he was a kid, Keith Anderson saw firsthand what it was like to be a fighter. Both of his parents were firefighters in the U.S. Air Force which allowed him to spend time in different fire houses as a youngster. The early experience stuck with him.

Veteran Affairs at QCC provides support to assist student Veterans and members of the Armed Forces in the adjustment to becoming successful in civilian and college life. They work had to promote college spirit and establish and maintain fellowship amongst veterans and students on campus.
