The big moment is here! We have officially begun transitioning to more in-person services and courses as we prepare for the comeback this Fall.
Although many of you (and us) haven't spent much time on campus over the last year, we have been working behind the scenes to help make the return to campus more convenient than ever. Our new virtual waiting line service allows students to make appointments from a mobile device or computer for various college offices. It's called Easy Queue (EZQ) and it allows you to join virtual waiting rooms for Admissions, Advising and Financial Aid.
Once you have made your appointment on your computer or phone, text messages will keep you posted on wait time as your appointment gets closes.
“Our students are often juggling multiple responsibilities. This support service should be a game changer for many who do not have the time to stand in line and wait for their appointment,” said QCC President Luis G. Pedraja, Ph.D.
In addition to this new service, we will continue to offer remote support services and online courses, as well as in-person services (starting now) and courses beginning this fall.
Registration is open for in-person and online Fall classes. If you need help and prefer to meet in person, we are here for you. Meet with admissions, financial aid and advising in person in the QCC Welcome Center. Mondays and Thursdays from 9am-6pm and Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10am-6pm.“The pandemic reinforced that our students need a variety of learning modalities that align with their needs,” Dr. Pedraja continued. “We have kept our extensive remote classes and support services, while bringing back in-person classes and continuing to look for ways to assist our students. Removing the barriers that prevent students from attaining their dreams of a better future through higher education is our number one priority.”
